Nor I on the cylinder, only aware of the new gasket.  But like others have said, the gasket won’t fix the sleeve movement, and that is what I had…Will keep posted if I get any other info.

I would  suggest you call HD customer service.  My dealer was only going to replace the gasket and jug on the rear.  Based on what I saw here I called HD customer service - by the way they were very interested in my problem and took immediate action - HD Tech then called the dealer direct.  Dealer is now inspecting the front too and will replace both gaskets (and front jug if needed).  The dealer was "not aware" of the new gasket so had I not called I would have only got rear jug/gasket...if you need, the number is 414 343 4056, have your VIN ready...

Thanks I will

I made the call and verified my dealer has been ordering the B version gaskets and made an attempt to ge an answer from the young man regarding anything in the pipeline that is light at the end of the tunnel-alas nada or he wasn't saying! Will hear today of service will be scheduled/completed before the 4th.

Update:
Both headgaskets replaced with the B version-no leaks. Dyno again with these results at the rear wheel:

84 hp and 107 tq-

Any opinion on that hp number? Seems low given my SERK with the 103 tuned to 97 hp?? Also the bottom end absolutely sucks. :nixweiss:

Why the new tune for just a head gasket change?  And is this tune's results and the bottom end performance you describe the same as it was?

If it's noticably worse they simply didn't do a good job.  Nothing much else is different (relative to how the bike runs going down the road).  If it was better before and they've still got it saved just have them reload the old map.

Sean, maybe it's that new head gaskets go slower :nixweiss: ?

There is no science to back that up, and that would upset me... :nixweiss:   :huepfenjump3:

No science on the new head gaskets....  That's going to piss off a lot of the 110 guys :huepfenlol2: .

However, since Bretton Woods we've been off the gold standard.  So that gold bike empiricism is out the window too :confused5: .

Don
remember the head gasket blew during the second dyno so he never got done. The bike is 100% better through the curve the lone exception is the bottom end up to about 1850rpm where it smooths out and takes off....and way faster than my Gold SERK- and there is no way I'm riding around having to hit 1700 rms to pull out-have you seen the hills in Seattle? I'll need a clutch by season end! :nixweiss:

Made an appointment with the dyno wrench that tuned my SERK back in 2004 which has been flawless for over 17K miles. I'm getting the graphs to the other tuner in the morning and have an other dyno appoitment August 1--and I love my H-D!

Do remember that.  Death in the process of tuning....

Good luck on finishing dialing it in.  If it's good now hopefully this one more trip will make it great.
