HB,

He talked about you a lot when we talked about the site.  He is special and truly is your friend.

I just met him once and I already feel like I've known him for years.  Now i'm gonna stop saying things about him so he won't get the bighead.  IT WAS A JOKE !!!

Pado...Don't believe a word of what he told you! It's all lies! ;D

He said something about your riding attire.  When I meet you I'll find out what he had in mind.

If I'm 10 minutes late, you just as well to call the state troopers and start a massive man hunt, cuz I've had bad problems, maybe even wrecked in a ditch.

I do plan on being late to my own funeral.

It must be the bibs with leather chaps. That always gets a couple of odd looks from passerbys.

AJ is a great friend. He's practically the first site member I met. Plus, he's got the best color CVO.

I would imagine him like a puppy chasing a toy blowing in the wind..ohhhhhh...what's that? and off he goes...LOL

Love ya buddy.

Love ya back! And I did tell Pado good things about you. Told him the story about how we meet down in Daytona and whata great time we had.

AJ
We haven't met (yet) but from your posts on the site, I've come to think of you on friendly terms. So I look forward to meeting you, hopefully in MV in September. I have to say though that for those who have been trained to not only be on time, but be a bit early, people who are consistently late are real BP raisers. No disrespect intended, simply stating it as it is. SOooooooooooooo  having said all that, is there a consistency to your lateness ? I mean are you always 30 minutes late, 45 minutes whatever.

I had a bro one time who was for the most part ALWAYS one hour late. I learned to get him to believe we would meet at a specific time and then I'd show up maybe 50 minutes late which would have me pulling up just a 10 minutes before his arrival. Had he known of my practice, he would have been two hours late vice one, but he never did catch on and it got to where I'd end up not waiting very much for him

B B

B B, I really am not habitually late. It just seems that way. This all got started when Pado said that he would be at Sav HD around 1pm. Well, I got tied up with a customer on HHI and needed to spend time with him. I was there a little after 2. Being late is not something that I plan on doing, sometimes it just happens. When it's time for 'kickstand's up' I'll be ready! Just ask Chief.

Thanks for finally explaining to the group it AJ.  I didn't get there until 1:30 myself. It didn't bother me in the least.

I suspected as much. People who own a business or are sefl-employed if you will are at the mercy of their customers. Their days don't start and end on a pre-set constant schedule. It's a good life if you're a hard worker but can be a bitch on your personal time away from the business. Understand. So did you see my post on the Gas Price thread about consolidating all of your machines into a tighter geographical area ?

I did. And over the last few years have done so. I am concentrated in three primary markets: Bft, HHI, & Charleston. I have someone who runs Chas & I handle the rest. Fortunately for me, I have bought up most of the competition over the years and only have to deal with one or two here in my market. My biggest competition comes from people that want to own their own equipment. And that's fine but... don't call me when you need service. Service is what I sell. And if you want it you've got to take it all. There's no "having your cake and eating it too".

Here is a link to a Rolex Harley Davidson Submariner.  Says it is "High Quality" & "High Grade" as well as "replica". Appears to be Genuine or as they say in "Brother Where Art Thou", bona fide.  Sells for $149, so priced in the upper, upper echelon of fine watches - must be better than the usual old Rolex.....

Not sure if these can be set to AJ's Timezone?

No Screamin' Eagle version yet but figure as soon as the Rolex makers in Hong Kong get the idea, there will be one. Big Swiss population in Hong Kong, apparently...
