HEAR YE HEAR YE HEAR YE, LET IT KNOWN TO ALL THAT I AM A PROUD OWNER OF A FXR3 BLUE. PIC TO FOLLOW. I'LL SEND THEM LATER TODAY OR TOMORROW. The  bike needs a new front tire.  Should I go with Dunlop again? He deducted $100.  Rear is ok, 2y/o dunlop. I guess you can't mix. I would perfer Avon or even Metzler although I really don't know which one is better. I heard the Avon gives you a softer ride. So, back to the experts,Tim,Mike,or Mike, Tim  what do you think??? change both Ft & Rear? Brand? or stay with the dunlop?  Thanks

George, the bike looks amazing!  How many miles on it again?  Man, it's all original right down to the air cleaner and exhaust - GREAT FIND! :2vrolijk_21:

On the tire deal, if it was mine, I'd just put a matching Dunlop on the front and ride!  I've got the Harley-branded Dunlops on mine and it rides fine.

Congrats, again, on the purchase and let's see some more pics!

Frankly, the best front street bike tire to use is the ME Lasertech front tire. Nothing like it in 19" or 21". Great front tire. You can use your Dunlop rear, or another good ME rear, and it won't impact the ME Laser front. They don't have a matching rear that I know of. It's strictly a front tire. Been running it on 19" and 21" street bike front wheels for years. I won't run any other front tire on a street bike! ;)
