What was it the hot rodders use to put near the end of their exhaust pipes to throw the flames out? Got to be some ole Hot Rodders here that know about that. :nixweiss:

A spark plug. They'd rev the motor up good and cut the ignition, still pumping gas through the carb, oh yea, need a carb for this to work. Bummer! :(

Actually, I was watching some Chopper Build off show a few weeks ago - the one where they drop off the crate and laptop with the instructions and sponsor info.

Well, this guy had it set up where there was a separate fuel line to the exhaust, with a spark plug mounted just aft. Let me say it would definitely do the trick. Now, I'm not sure how comfortable I'd be running that set up myself, but it sure provoked some pleasantly evil visions!

Speaking of evil    ;D

Propane tank piped into the exhaust near the end with a sparkplug in each tip.  Little voltage to get her lit off and let her rip.  Doesn't take much propane.  Couple small bottles would do nicely.

About $2000.00 to have these guys do it according to the website.  Who's first?

Have removed a couple of side view mirrors of these "A-H@les", the shock as you disappear up the freeway keeps them from seeing that little license plate. Pricks!
Stay safe,  Dave

If you're doing a flame thrower it's only effective mounted on the front.  How about replacing the two spots with nozzles.  The fairing lowers can double as napalm tanks.  Once you get by an idiot like this your job is done.  Getting him to pull over after cutting you off is the trick.  I'd be tempted to kick off the mirror in that situation.
