Why does the orange one have a brake light on the fender and the other two colors do not?

The Orange photo is for an HDI (overseas) market.  The LED bars are amber as well and work only as a turn signal.  The domestic (yellow and silver bikes shown) LED bars work as run, stop, turn signals so no center tail light is needed and cleans up the fender.

Big decision on the Orange RG.  I've had the first one in held for me, but after looking at the pics really not so sure I would buy it to keep.  Like 2Lane mentioned, the rear fender is butt ugly with the plastic extension.  Could have been a great look if they would have actually flared the fender instead of adding a piece of plastic to an FL fender.  I do like the LED's and don't think the taillight in the picture is the actual one coming on the bikes.

For a keeper bike it's looking to me like it would be a very expensive ride after re-dipping the 110, Rineharts, seat, handlebars, lowering kit, windshield and finish chroming the engine.  About a 40k ride at cost with an average paint job.

Lot's of head scratching ahead.....

For those who love it, please don't take my comments as criticism of you and/or your taste.  But after all those years of waiting, I've got to say I'm highly disappointed.  No lowers or tour-pak, so if you want to add them I guess you get to conjure up your own custom paint.  Fugly extensions make the bags look like something from a high school shop class (or something you could buy from J.C. Whitney and glue on), while covering up the view of the chrome pipes and complicating any modifications.  And the graphics don't even come close to the original SERG.

I was afraid they would offer such a stunning bike that I would be forced to eat my words and buy one.  Unless they look 1000% better in person than they do in photo's, I don't think I'll be eating any words.

Clearly the 00's are not worth (in Brians mind) the 75K it would take to get my 01.
Must be that lack of security system, or maybe those wheels, , , , actually I'm betting it's that 12 disc CD changer!

I have in my possesion a "2009 GENUINE MOTOR ACCESSORIES AND GENUINE MOTOR PARTS" Catalog.
Should anyone have any questions about parts or accessories let me know.
You should be able to get these at your dealer in the next few days.

Why does the orange one have a brake light on the fender and the other two colors do not?
It's generally the same. The lights function like the Nighster lights. 3 in1. However the big center light is only for HDI. The international models.

Whew!

I am soooo glad I saw these pics... I just saved a bunch of money not trading in my old bike for this.

Now I just need to sink in that last $2,000 on getting my 07 CUSE2 perfect..   :P

Thus endeth the lesson.............SERG looks like an attempt at recapturing the old SERG, but done as a trade school project.  :nixweiss:

Plus another 110" offering........no thanks MOCO. :confused5:

At least they put a 103" in the trike.  :2vrolijk_21:

Yeah the 103 in the trike and not the 110, like taking a step backward HD.

Only the CVO's get the 110 and the trike is not a CVO model, so therefore no 110. I think bumping it up to 103 was the right thing to do due to the extra weight.

CVO trike by 2010 or 2011 - a safe bet.  With a 110?  Who knows by then....

:indian_chief:

As Brian said, it speaks volumes that they went with the 103" and not the 110". Typically after the new engine was produced for a year or two it was available in non-CVO models (SEEG & VROD).
