Being a Monday morning quarterback, they should have left off the eagle head and painted the front fender black & white checkerboard.

Those half-arsed bag extenders really look funky in that view the way they swoop down mid-way to cover up the last half of the pipe.  I think they should have stuck with traditional bags . . . With the seams and the odd shape of the piece itself, it comes off looking like they tried to hard to customize something just for the sake of customizing it.

It's still a good looking bike but I'm dissapointed with a lot of things here. It's a shame because just a few obvious things are keeping this bike from being a homerun.

There are a lot of things to like about this bike - and a few disappointments.   For a touring bike, I want lowers and a tour pak.  And I want rear crash bars.  And I don't like the tacked on look of the rear of the bike.  A more prominent eagle would have been nice.

But those things aside, I like the rest of the bike.  It has some nice features and a few things I really like - especially the wheels.   I would like to see one in person.  Other then the yellow, I like the colors and paint scheme (although a straighter line thru the side cover would have flowed nicely).

So, IMO, it is not a home run, but is not a strike out either...

What they look like is something someone saw on the markdown shelf at J&P cycles because they'd not sold then ran home on a Saturday afternoon to paint in the garage and stick on to have ready for a Sunday morning breakfast ride.

The HD guy that ran to J & P Cycles in Iowa & did this is truly embarrassed publicly now that you have outed him.  I hope you are happy with yourself, young man!

Maybe so Iski, but he did grab a few little parts I'm liking the details of.  Even though the bag latches that match this collection don't do a lot for me (at least in the photos) I'm liking the mirrors and hydraulic cylinder covers.  Also am looking forward to seeing it closer but think this new fuel door might be very CVO cool.  Too bad with the dashes for the six gallon tanks it won't retrofit back.

I don't like the grade school-ish effort bird.  I don't like the graphics on top of the front fender.  The rear fender extension is bulbous and looks like it belongs on a Goldwing.  The bag extensions are stuck on unfinished tumors that add zero space and plenty of ugly while eliminating likely much needed choices in exhaust changes.  The lines that carry from the fairing to the tank that should continue on through the saddlebag stop before any spatial sense says they should.  It's a big touring bike without an even fair complement of touring accoutrements.  It's also got cheesy stick on reflectors right in the middle of the paint.  But I've not looked at it closely yet.  So I could've missed something.

Have a friend looking at putting a deposit on this new SERG right now, 2LBR & I told him he should go ahead. It's a damn good looking bike - a few things I really do not care for but all in all think they did a good job on it.  Not as good their 4th CVO Ultra, but ok nonetheless.

Fuel door appears to be a winner & the other stuff you listed.

I wonder if the paint will come off when people try to peel those azzugly reflectors off the saddlebags?  Jeezelouise what were they thinking........

Bet there will be quite a few folks who find a good airbrush guy to "Finish" that eagle graphic.  Pics look unfinished - must look better in person.

Damn I want one more and more now. Since everyone doesn't like them that means there will be less buying them. If only the timing was right and I could get one now there would be a new :pumpkin: in my stable. ;D

Has anybody noticed...
