Not that it concerns me, but I would have thought that a trike that size would or should have a reverse gear....... :nixweiss:

It would be nice to know if it has independent suspension . I have ridden both systems and independent is the chit. :nixweiss:
They will have the solid axle read end.

I had for a short time a 2001 ultra trike that had I believe a Baker reverse gear. Worked well but for some reason you had to remember that it was possible to be in reverse and 1st  at the same time. If you did that it was then a major problem to get in neutrial and get back on track.

On the reverse kits that mount to the trans cover with a handle to move it into reverse you must rember to put it in or out of reverse, get it out of gear, see the light that you not in a gear, put it in reverse, move it take it out of reverse, seel the light, than put it in first.

If you have it in first and pull up on the reverse lever...........yes you will rip out all the reverse gears! Big mess!

Not a big deal, just one more thing to learn.

Very cool, wonder if we'll get them down here. We miss out on the whole range.

I want to see the unit. No body on it to see what they did with the frame, and rear end.

Can't find any pic of the unit only.

I talked to a friend at California Sidecar and he said Harley pretty much copied Layman. Would make sense as they were at one time going to joint venture with them.

Was at my dealer this AM and was talking about CVO's.  I mentioned that HD was making a Blue trike just like the one that he had on the floor 2 months ago.  I wanted to know the difference between them and he said, "no comment".

Makes you think doesn't it.

Have to wonder how long "FELT" drive will last?

Thats a new space age felt designed especially for Harley Davidson. The product is made to absorb shock when the clutch is let out to fast where by reducing the possibility of any damage to the rear differential.in addition it will also absorb any oil should Harley decide to go to a 110. :coolblue: :coolblue: ;D ;D
