Funny, when I asked about running bikes for REAL on a track, and NOT just on a dyno... it seemed like almost nobody else (except me) ever had. [smiley=nixweiss.gif]

808+275+fluids = 1100+ and YES it will hit well over 120.  I think the general concensus it that any SEEG will pin the speedo, am I incorrect guys/gals? [smiley=laugh.gif]  

And lots of smoke?  [smiley=furious.gif] I don't take too well to being called a liar.  And I don't like my friends being called liars either. [smiley=shocked2.gif]

Last bike I had at the drag stip was a Axtell Mtn motor Sporty.
Ran 10.5's @ 132,,, all day long

The Hayabusa had more power than I had ba##s. So no trip to the track for that.

I'm thinking the Lowrider is a mid to high 12's (maybe low 13's, please say it ain't so)
bike.

The SEEG I don't know, but I'm guessing a low 14 maybe [smiley=shocked2.gif].


You know after I ordered my SEEG,  Black_Dog told me he had his pumkin running 127 according to the GPS and still had some left. I didn't believe him!
My SEEG was going to be my sixth dresser and 110 was the most I had ever seen out of any of them. Boy, was I wrong! My SEEG runs to 120 as easy as all my other dressers ran to 95.

So bottom line!
In my world,
Any SEEG should run to 120 based on the two following things;

1)  The operator is willing.
2)  The SEEG is typical of a standard SEEG from the factory.

I think each bike has it's own personality.  I weigh about 210, wife about 130, had both side bags and the tour pack full.  At 6000 ft above sea level ran the bike past the 120 mark, and am confident it would do 130 if I pushed it harder in 5th before moving to sixth.  With a little better map, riding single, w/o tour pac, probably 135-140.  At sea level and remapped probably better.  But all things considered, the bike runs a solid 120 no problem.

Dr Evil you are taking it all wrong. I am not calling you and your friends liars. Just dont understand how everones bike has a much higher top speed then mine.  [smiley=nixweiss.gif] I guess I will need to have it looked at in Houston when I get back from Nigeria. It seems to run fine riding around town no funny noises or knocks. I had the fuel injection mapped at what I thought was a repuatble shop. The bike seems to be 5 miles shy of that 120 mark. It does not have the Stage 1 chip. 2 into 1 exhaust high flow aircleaner and a power commander. It made good power on the dyno. I need to find someone in Houston who has a SEEG and see how it runs with it. When I made the highspeed run it was 90 degress with 90 percent humidity. Could that effect the bike?

I am still going to ride it like I stold it. I just need to make it faster  [smiley=laugh.gif]

90% humidity will definatly affect it.....especially at top end.  Humidity is one of the key factors in a motors performance as is heat.  When you have both going......you're just not going to do that well.

Was just really pulling your leg about the liars thing.  [smiley=laugh.gif]  All I can say is mine will absolutely run all day at 120+, carrying me, without struggling, and I've got 50lbs on ya.  [smiley=nervous.gif]  The real problem is that you're never going to get anywhere with a dealer complaining about the top speed (or lack thereof) of your bike.  They'll just say slow the hell down.  I really do believe the heat IS a serious factor.  On cool/cold mornings my bike "seems" way faster.  There's probably not much you can do.  Do ask member M.White (WHAT'S UP MIKE?  [smiley=drink.gif]  [smiley=thumbsup.gif] ) he's from Texas also and maybe can give some insight.  I know he rides hard... he'll know.  [smiley=beerchug.gif]

That's a big affirmed DJ.  Remember those days at and around Soggy Valley?  The bikes just ran great.  That Sunday WFP and I made the fun highway run from The Gathering to York it was a cool day.  Really cool.  But the bikes just purred.  Better fuel mileage.  More power.  Happy campers  [smiley=beerchug.gif]

Tater's bike has more horsepower but,

Shrader's bike has a lot less weight.

Well I have an answer!


At least one side of the story.


I talked to Hubbard!

He said that they rolled on and he left Shrader like Shrader was in reverse!

He said something about Shrader complaining about a wobble.

So Hubbard's bike is faster than Shrader's! (according to Hubbard)

Whether it's wobble, bobble or gobble the one complaining is usually the last one in line!


How true is it?
Does Shrader have an opinion?

When mine was dyno'd forgot to tell the guy I had installed the 6 speed, ran up to 140mph on the dyno before it hit the rev limiter.
