Hello all!  I've been here almost 3 hrs since I found this site.  I was at a local HD dealer getting parts for my '77 and the owner and I were bs' about bikes. I haven't been there in what 4-5 years and told him about my '05 and it's "unusual" handeling at high speeds:105 and up.  He told me about a customer and a web site.....so here I be.

I've been on bikes since I was 13, and 41 years later I realized theres alot I still don't know and some very knowledgeable ppl here!!  I'll post my '05 problems and thoughts on the "high speed wobble" thread soon.

Ty all! [smiley=thumbsup.gif]

Ty HD2003, WeCVO and spydlide!  First I ride all 3 for a total of 12K + a year.  The SEEG has 900 miles since March.  It's rained the last 5 weekends here and work is crazy.  Lz is my nick. form another life..............   I'm still trying to research all the links and info. I have discovered here and other sites re. high speed wobble.  I took the '05 "as I prefer to call it at this point" for 5, 12 mile rides to verrify what works what dosen't and where this wobble comes from.  Checked all the basics, had the bike on the lift, checking out swing arm play, wheel play/runout, diff.  air pressure in tires and shocks, tour pack off etc.
I'm going to need some help here as I have managed to raise the "ears" of HD as the wife took a call today from Milwaukee!  Still waiting for a call back.............

Mod. please feel free to move this post to another thread or is it appropiate to start a new one "High Speed Wobble, Part 2"??

Lz, first, let me add my "welcome" to the other ones.  Glad you found the site and we all look forward to your contributions! [smiley=thumbsup.gif]

Second, we don't have the ability to move single posts, only entire threads from one forum to another.  I suggest cutting and pasting the appropriate portion of your above thread into the one that's already been started on the subject.  That way, we can do our best to keep all the information in one place.  Of course, then please add the details of your conversation with the folks at H-D to the same thread once you've had the chance to speak with them.

Thanks, and again, welcome to the site! [smiley=beerchug.gif]

I was searching for anything CVO related a few months ago.  I am on my second CVO bike and have never found another site as informative as this one.  I looked around as a guest a few times before registering.  I really could not believe what I had been missing!  I have found more good tips, products, mod ideas, and people, here, than at any dealership, chat room, or whatever.  Thanks for everything!!  By the way.  as with many things..GOOGLE got me here!

Just picked up my 05 SEEG about 10 days ago. Found out real quick about the heat problem on the rear collector, so was searching the internet for people that had switched to Rhinehart or VandH duals.....

I think the first clue was the wife hitting me on the head and yelling "my feet are hot!". Her next statement was "you need to fix that.."

Darn the bad luck - the wife wanting me to spend bucks on a new exhaust system... [smiley=1syellow1.gif]

Jim, let me be the first to welcome you to the site!  Sounds like the conversation I had with my wife about the rear shocks.  Maybe that will be next for you.

Be sure and put a few photos of your scoot up for all of us to see and maybe you can hook up with M. White here (also from TX) and join us for the next get-together. [smiley=beerchug.gif]

I was referred to this site by Kingsalmon. [smiley=dankk2.gif]

He bragged about it for so long that I started watching as a guest, and then I finally had to break down.
This weekend... I am going to pick up my teal from So. Cal. [smiley=1syellow1.gif]

I was at the Va. State H.O.G. Rally and met Mr/Mrs WeCVO at registration area. They introduced themselves and told me about this site. Also while there I met "Shrader" of Witheville H-D and was asking him about some modifications he had done to his bike, and he too mentioned this site. It has been a great place to learn more about my bike, and find out that some of the problems that I was having with my bike are common to my specific model. I will say this place is somewhat addictive with all the information and interesting reading it's hard to get away from computer. Thanks again Mr/Mrs WECVO, and Shrader for letting me know about this place.   [smiley=beerchug.gif]
