Picked up a 2001 screaming eagle roadglide a few days ago, wow what a differance! strapped my leg over it, drove down the street to the 1st stop sign when to put my foot down and slipped

welll after a brief struggle, I managed to keep the bike upright,, wow what a beast! finnaly got it home after a 100+ mile ride and proceeded to take my trusty snap on alan wrench and remove the heel shifter.... what a piece of crap! I cant believe guys that drive these bikes have shoes less than a 10, my 14"s where having none of that so i deemed them retardo shifters and it is now sitting on my bench in my shed, next plan of attack is getting rid or the rock hard single seat, it might as well had been built with a piece of wood wrapped in a blanket... sore ass for sure. through the touring seat on and waaaaaaaaaaaaaaallllllllllllllllaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa what a differance! impressions of this bike are as follows (my last bike was a yamaha warrior, suzuki gsxr100, yamaha r-1 ect ect)
1. HEAVY
2. Vibrations heavy at a stand still
3. makes weird noises when lugging it along.
4 on higher speed runs ive noticed that the rear end wants to steer a bit
on the plus side
1. bike looks brand new
2. got a killer deal on it
3. heck i even got a trailer to boot
4 besides all the screaming eagle junk, the previous owner put on a true dual roadburnner system (any one ever hear of on of these?? are they decent? which leads to my next queston...... with such a nice machine why would you put a TFI TECLUSION fuel pak on this bike? any one got any suggestions on what I should put in there?
oh yeah my name is Shane iam from the north seattle area
