Greetings and Peace to All my CVO brothers & sisters!
I'm slated to get a new orange/black SERG right after the first of the year, trading in our FLHRSEI2 & FXSTDSE on it.
We broke our two '03 CVO's in with regular fossil oils, then switched to SYN3 right after it came out at about 1500 miles. I've never really been confident with the SYN3 and always questioned it,
especially in the tranny, but never changed back as - in spite of my concerns - there's never been any engine/tranny problems on either bike.
New CVO bikes are shipped out now with SYN3 already in them. What would happen if I had the dealer change the SYN3 out to either fossil oils OR preferably Redline synthetic engine oil and their Shockproof tranny fluid (great stuff - really quiets down the gear shifting!) before I even ride the bike out of the dealership the first time next Spring?
Would I void the warranty? I am NOT confident nor happy about breaking in my new 110" engine with SYN3 and suspect this could be part of the root problem experienced with the earlier 110" motors...

What do you think?
I appreciate all responses! Thanks - ride safe, enjoy life while you can, and God bless...
