Sorry, 401. I fixed it. I've been saying 401 all along!

SE-251 CAM KIT*
This camshaft is a high lift version of the SE-211 camshaft.
As such, it works great with 103" and larger engines with
free flowing intake and exhaust. It can be used with stock
heads updated with race springs and high compression
pistons to get even more torque than a SE-211 cam or
couple it with any of the performance heads to realize the
full power potential of this cam. This cam is used in the 103"
Stage 3 Race Kit. For race application only.
25121-03 $269.95
Fits ’99-’05 Dyna®, ’00-’06 Softail® and
’99-’06 Touring models.

*CAUTION: Requires use of Screamin’ Eagle Valve Spring Kit
and appropriate Screamin Eagle Pushrods for installation and
to ensure proper clearance. Failure to comply may result in
engine damage.

Those aren't the right cams for your bike. You need '06+up Dyna, and all '07+up cams. Different P/N. 25466-06.You should be working with whoever's doing your work. Don't put yourself in the middle of this thing if you're not clear on what's required. Use this info but work with the builder! ;)

Howie, you're joking right? I'm going to be working with a HD dealer who will only look up part numbers. I need to make sure they order the right stuff the first time. That's why I'm asking.

So we're into this for $389.90 plus tax and any install charge.

HeHe!!! Well ya better get the right cams then. That's why I posted em! ::) :P ;D ;D ;D

With new Torrington cam bearings and gaskets, I'd figure around $500 for parts on the cam job. But ya might wanna think about new lifters too at this time. About another 250 bucks. ;)

PS: Look at the chain tensioners. Cheap enopugh to replace then, since you're removing them anyway.

Howie, have you ever bought a part, any part, for a HD that had to be installed? You know, one that came with one of those white pieces of paper? Have you ever tried to read those instructions? Now, think about a guy working in a shop making minimum wage trying to follow those instructions.  :-\  ;D The idea here is to keep it as simple as possible.

They seemed pretty decent in Savannah when TN took me in there. The SM Al Silver was really helpful. Maybe worth a short trip. Talk to TN. Doesn't sound like you're very confident about where you go. And you know how I generally feel about that subject! FTD!!! ;D ;)

I've found the answer concerning the bearings in this thread :
http://www.cvoharley.com/smf/index.php?topic=25698.0;all

Fom the Hot Bike mag website.

15. He removed the cam plate and snap ring and pulled the inner cam bearings. The new Torrington cam bearing (shown here on the left, sold separately) provides more surface area contacting the cams than the stock cam bearings. Side Note: Before installing cams into the cam plate, you should dry fit the cams to check lobe to case clearance. Check both cams, and if they spin then you're good to go.
