The neighbours dogs, both of them, a couple of bandicoots that pop like balloons and stink like all buggery and a bloated roo carcass that exploded everywhere.  The smell of that one resulted in the previous night's beer and pizza to finish up all over me and the bike.

Well I didn't hit it but came around a curve and there this thing was.  I had to stop and see if I could takes his picture.

Always been scared of running over a snake and it getting flung up into my lap,  :nervous:  which in my case would NOT BE GOOD!
I just don't think I could be  :coolblue:  about it.

Hey ox666 the roo carcass sounds interesting! As it was dead I presume you hit it, rather than it hitting you.

I went round a blind corner once and ran over the leg of a dead cow that was lying on the side of the road (having been hit by a car some time earlier) but I didn't think that would count for the tally.

Had a Chipmunk commit suicide on my USA trip. Little sucker ran across the road in front of me but he had calculated my approach speed wrong and ran clean past, stopped to re-assess his mistake and ran back at the perfect speed - as they say the rest is history !

Yeah,  I hit it.  I can offer all sorts of brilliant excuses but basically I was a dickhead.  It also resulted in partial rib bone through my tire.  So I had to sit and wait for rescue in 38C (106 F) heat with humidity of 90+%  putting up with the putrescence of not only rotten roo guts but the rotten contents of my guts as well.  My dogs wanted to roll in me when I got home.

At least we would never have to put up with that weather here in the 'sunny' UK. Although I am not sure if that is a good thing or not! Probably means you enjoy a longer riding year than we do.

Anyway the important thing is that you survived the incident (I hope unharmed). I had a pillion throw up over me (see earlier thread) so I know what that mess smells like. You must have been a pleasure to be near!!

It was late spring and it was awful.  Apart from the minister for war I did not tell a soul.  I think I must have annoyed her over something obviously completely trivial and she told someone and next thing....  Well, you know how that goes - I was seriously injured - pride only.

My best firend hit a cow that had got loose and was in a blind corner near Deals Gap.  Put him in the ditch with a broken leg.

A veil of bloomers; and other stuff.  One of those car top fiberglass storage things came loose from the top of a mini-van and landed between me and the van.  When it hit the pavement it just erupted.  Undies and other stuff everywhere.

Nothing covered the face though.  And most everything else blew off.  Only things I found hooked to the bike when I got stopped were a pair of briefs wedged against one saddlebag and a sock wrapped around a front brake line under the tree.
