Round most definitely. I like the gold outer band with FLAMES styling instead of diamond cut. How about making the world map pop out in polished metal to match the outer band color.

No you can't make us all happy and hitting a middle ground, getting the project off the drawing board and into production and out to the members will represent a lot of time and effort on your part. I'm sure once we reach that point, we'll all hoist a beer or two in your honor.
