I raised the question in an earlier post about cutting off the "pea shooter" on the back end of the muffler so it's not visible with the end cap on.  Any problem with this or does it serve a purpose?

As far as cutting off the pea shooter,  the earlier SE Slip ons were bad for the end caps corroding, this was because the exhaust gases were affecting the chrome. Hence that is why the pea shooter came in--- directs gases out of end cap-- no corrosion problems

FYI
       Fullsac guy informed me they don't work with older mufflers. Too bad, not everyone has a brand new ride
