I don't have a SERT. I wonder what color my '10 bike will be?

My 2013 will some variation of silver and black.
Of course.

I called MoCo Customer Service and asked them why I wasn't included in the mailings for "the book".  Here's the response I got from them.  It seems that I was put on their exclusion list because I modified my motorcycle.  (All of you that received books from the MoCo that didn't make any mods to your bikes, raise your hands.)  Seems it's in the company's files that I put the SERT on my bike which put me on the exclusion list.  I told the MoCo that they really need to get a grip on reality.  I paid $35K for their most expensive motorcycle and this is how they show their thanks by putting me on the exclusion list?  I told her the next time I decide to buy a motorcycle, I'll put the MoCo on my exclusion list.  She said she would annotate my response.  (I'm now probably not only on their exclusion list, but on their black list too.)  What a freakin lame response.  I'm with Howie on this one FTF!!!    :sauer005:

The SERT was installed on the dealer when the bike was serviced @ 1000K miles and anyway I got the book  :nixweiss:

Not sure what color but mine will probaby not have HD anywhere on it, if that's the way they treat their loyal (and high end) customers... :nixweiss: :sauer005:

not all the dealers register online with moco when a bike has had service/recall/mods, maybe ur dealer plays by the moco rule book and thats why u have been excluded from the collection book.

Guess that's what happened.   :nixweiss:  Which would be really strange considering all the performance upgrades they do to bikes...you would think that they don't report everything, but apparently they did with mine.  :-\

Howie,  it's not the book, I can do without that, it's the principal of it.

Yeah, I'm with ya Charlie. I got a real kick out of this selective program when it came out! ::)

You mean they have principals? They'd have good 110's if they had principals! FTF! ;)

I'm sure the MoCo doesn't think twice about selling their "off-road use only" SERT to every swinging d*ck out there either.  You have to read the fine print on the label under the for off-road use only statement in real fine print it says "caution, use of this product, which was manufactured for the MoCo to increase the efficiency and performance of your motorcycle, which was built by the MoCo, will cause you to be put on their Exclusion List for using it."  Gotta love it... :P

Well Charlie, there seems to be no rhyme or reason to what they do under this program. I've spoken to them a few times and they told me I'm not on the list for the book. I told em I got a PE letter, so why not the book? They told me to fax it to em and they'd look into why I wasn't getting the book. I blew it off and didn't bother. But was still annoyed that I wasn't automatically getting the book that all '07/'08 owners should be entitled to, not just some of us. Well lo and behold, the freakin book shows up today! Go figure!!! :o :nixweiss: :nixweiss: :nixweiss:

Nice book, but FTB anyway!!! ;D ;)

Since you type---> "FTB"
Why not send your book to Charlie.
Unless you really want it.
Sending it to him seems the logical thing to do.
