Thanks Elvis, great game

Hey TN, you should just set me up as an auto delivery, you are quite the cigar benefactor this season...

What smoke shall I be receiving this time?

So would any of the Anti-Gator prognosticators like to amend your choices?  I missed Allwannabe by 1 point and Bama held us to less then we normally score.

Already ordered my T-Shirt...

Not sure y'all knew, but Oklahoma played in a little football game this evening.  Nothing as big as the Alabama/Florida game though.

BTW, OU managed to squeak out a win... 62-21.

Ok, I know..... the Big 12 conference is nothing like the SEC and winning the Big 12 doesn't mean near as much as winning the SEC, but still pretty good for us Okies, don't you think?

Oh and can you believe it, this was the fifth straight game that OU scored over 60 points.... I think that may be some kind of a Big 12 National Record :nixweiss: ;D

Anyway,

What's the whole story on the plane flying the banner over U Texas taunting Mac Brown

(whom by the way I couldn't think of a better person to pi$$ on as he's a whiney jacka$$ of the 1st stripe)

Well, Texas started it :D :D

Texas had a plane fly over the OU/OSU game trying to make their case for them winning the Big 12 South.

Then OU supporters flew a plane over Texas, as you know, taunting Mac Brown for whining.

Then yesterday, Texas again flew a banner over Arrowhead Stadium reading "Welcome to the Beat By Texas Bowl".

I will not be surprised if Texas hires a plane to fly over the bowl game that OU plays in, be it for the National Championship or otherwise.

Would be pretty sweet if OU & Texas could play for the National Championship and settle it..... at least until next year.

Thanks for the explanation, but I do agree with the Sooner fans that Mac Brown is nothing but a whiney b_ _tch. IMHO, he's one of the biggest reasons the BCS should be abolished. And on that note, today's polls are nothing but more proof BCS should go the way of teh DoDo Bird.

Yep congrats. Sure wish they'd called the game after the 3rd quarter. Oh well, next year. Damn Tim Tebow is good, even better than Peyton or Eli in college. I'll be shocked if he doesn't go 1st in the draft. OU-FL should be one hell of a game, even as good and fast as Florida is I'm thinking OU will be favored. We'll be watching from New Orleans.

Yep, setting on the edge of our seats waiting on the BCS standing to come out later today.  I think OU should pass Texas in the BCS... it will be interesting to see how many people cry foul :nixweiss:

I'm thinking OU beats Missouri in the Big 12 Championship and Florida beats Bama in the SEC Championship then..... OU vs Florida in the National Championship gameThat's my prediction

And Heisman..... I'm thinking our Sam Bradford is a strong contender  ;)

It will be interesting to see how this all plays out

Ok, I predicted it back on November 30th.

Congrats to Florida for making it to the championship game.  Going to be an awesome game!

Now, what about the Heisman?  Of course, I think Sam Bradford is the top contender.  Several strong players for the Heisman this year:  Bradford, Tebow, McCoy, and Harrell.  I'm a little afraid that McCoy my get a few sympathy votes because of the Big 12 tie-breaker issue.  December 15th will be interesting.

Both teams live to play another day & it would be good to have that playoff.  Current system is stupid & I have said that since the inception of the BCS bowl scenario.

Congrats to the Sooners for a helluva win over Missou & to the Gators for their win over the Tide!

Looks like the Tebow/Bradford Bowl from where I sit.  2 great quarterbacks with great teams supporting their successes.

My current rant remains much like my past rant of don't know how many years - too many bowls, too many teams with 7-5 or similar record teams bowl bound - whatta joke.  Yeah, the fans get a great trip to see their team play in a bowl but if a team is hovering barely over the 50% win mark - that ain't a lot to be celebrating, IMHO. It's about the $$.
