Fatboy,

That's a possibility - might also act as an air brake when you touch it off, similar to a jet fighter.

Yo Hub
I found a pic online at after I found the BJ's site, does your horn have the 4 slots in the case?

Yeah, 'er 'uh, porthole,
That would be negative.  Mine's smooth.  Didn't get over to OTIS's last night to get picture.  Will get one tonight, and post tomorrow.  Later--HUBBARD

Thanks Brian.  Guess I just missed it when I looked.  By the looks of the parts in the pic the install can't be anything.  Where's the harness tie in?  Is there something inside the fairing or do you have to route that accessory harness back underneath the tank?

I generally order from Hale's anymore also.  Them or Surdyke.  They've both proved to have quality mail order service and support.  Going to wait until after new product announcements to order anything though.  Hopefully a truly matched oil temp gauge will be available then.  And [bgcolor=Yellow]I'd trade your bike [/bgcolor]for that AM/FM/WB/XM/CD/MP3 direct replacement radio that I've been hoping for  [smiley=huepfenjump3.gif]

103thunder,

Just reading through the thread, noticed this, and wondered how you feel about this idea?

Had my first horn replaced 2 weeks ago by the dealer. Now, the new one sounds like a duck as well. He says we should all complain to Harley as it is a safety issue. Says they don't seem to want to listen to the dealers. BTW Chip, Nice to meet you at Cox's the other day. Sorry, I was on the run. Had an appointment to make. Would have liked to talk awhile.

Oops!  [smiley=confused5.gif]  Sorry 2lane - I was over eager to get in on the deal.  I figured if he was amenable to the idea, there are several items I'd like to trade his bike for also.  [smiley=laugh.gif] [smiley=laugh.gif]
