Has anyone serviced their AK-20's by themselves without sending the forks back to Traxxion??
I think 2Lane is going to do his this winter and Henry has bought the kit from Traxxion.
If anyone has done the service or disassembly of the forks, any help/tips appreciated as I am at just over 30K on mine.  If no one has done it themselves, I will probably send back to Traxxion after Thanksgiving.

I serviced mine yesterday. It was a very interesting day. I learned a lot. I also took the AK-20 cartridge apart and cleaned that too, so I'd know what's all inside my my forks. The guys at Traxxion were very helpful when I had questions. You need about $250 in tools, including a spring compresser, cartridge bleeder tool, fork oil level tool, 1 3/8 inch box end wrench to get the fork cap off at the triple tree, and a few other metric tools. Traxxion supplied me with a case of brake/contact cleaner, fork oil and a cartridge holder tool when taking off the 6 mm cartridge holder screw at the very bottom of the forks. I got most of my tools at Racetech, except the HD bushing and oil seal installation tool. This is a fairly advanced job that requires perfection so if you aren't really confident and have the ability, I'd send my forks to Traxxion or HD-Dude for overhaul.

Just spoke with Dan, they are working on mine as I type.  Turned out that my AK20's on the 05 SEEG were lowered so they are going back to stock ride height for the SeUltra.  Will have something to sell, just don't know exactly what yet.
