Does anyone out there like the green 2006SE ultra classic? I havent found anyone but me who likes it so far. I just thought It would be a little unique...since I dont see a lot of green Harleys. My dealer is getting one of each and the black and crimson red one is already spoken for. That one was my first choice...but the more I look at the green the more I like it. Does anyone know where I can find more pictures of it other than on the Harley Home page. Any help or input would be appreciated.

Not to hurt your feelings, but I don't really care for the green color, at least the pictures don't look good to me.  I started looking for a SE Ultra Monday of this week, and I found a green one for MSRP about a half days drive away, but I really wanted a black/charcoal one, so I put a deposit down and will have to wait till Sept.  I've never been really fond of the CVO colors, at least I would never custom paint one in some of their choices. It's really hard to say until you've seen one in person.  Never say never.  [smiley=xyxthumbs.gif]

Haven't seen one up close and personal yet so waiting to make a decision. However I've been told my local dealer has one on the floor, so I hope to see it soon. I think the thing that I'm going to have to get used to more then the colors is the leather tour pack.  [smiley=nixweiss.gif] I'm just not sure how that combination is going to work together (hard saddlebags and leather tour pack). I know that colors that you see in print and on computer don't do bikes justice at times. I've been pleasantly surprised more times than not by the appearance of bike in real life.

Displaced, the concensus based solely on the pictures was (generally) that folks weren't terribly excited.  Almost no one has seen one in person though.  And we all know that real life and photos are often considerably different.  So folks are generally holding firm opinions in abeyance until they see something for real.  

I personally absolutely hated the pictures of the green bikes.  But then I remembered that I'm color blind in the part of the spectrum that covers most greens.  So most all greens (darker ones especially) look pretty crappy to me.  Therefore, in this as with so many things, my opinion ain't worth bubkus  [smiley=beerchug.gif]

The most important opinion, however, will be yours.  Especially the one you have when the butt is in the saddle.  So that's the one we'll all wait for after you get your hands on one.

I think it's one of the butt ugliest color schemes that HD ever concocted except for some brown yellow combo of yesteryear. To make the colors for the green bike I think they just used a little of the left over reds oranges and yellows and maybe some blues stirred em up  and sprayed. To be topped off with some left over  yellow sunglo for a ragged stripe down the side and for just the right balance purple pinstriping. This could be the ugliest one yet . I hope it goes on record as the ugliest one yet. Mine is coming in two weeks I hope.

I have to add mine won't be the simple [smiley=drink.gif] [smiley=drink.gif] green............. Mine is the Majestic Green Pearl and Black Emerald . HD has a helluva good wordsmith naming the paint colors.

Yeah...but up there in Boston...Green is a Prime Color...Celtics everywhere.

ps. I lived in Framingham a few years back...my wife is from Southboro.
Took fifteen years in Kentucky to get her to say ya'll...half way right!

I just had a guy call from Florida wants to buy the yellow bike. I spent a little time shining her up today. Paint really comes alive in the sun. She was aking to stay but I told her she must go. I think she'll like it better in Florida it's for her own good you know! In 77 I had a green Triumph Tiger and have not had a green bike since. Did I say green? I mean't BE&MGP (short for black emerald and majestic green pearl. If I see one bike by itself I think that bike is nice. Put a few different bikes in a group I can get overloaded. Just about any hd event I go I always see a twin of the CVO I brought. They'll sell every green one they make errr I mean BE&MGP. And whatever other "stock colors" they invent. The last keeper bike I had was in 91 kept it 7 years. Was a birch white FLHTP with big black ugly knobs on the saddlebags. There i not accounting for taste ans that's where I fit in. I don't take the web site photos to heart anymore!!!!!! I had a SEEG in Yellow on order it was the best looking bike I had ever seen (on the web site)and after I got a chance to really see it up close and in person I HAD TO PASS!!!!!!!!

Chip you know on the web site the red did not look very good at all. I must admit it might be the best looking of all of the SEEG's. I like my pumpkin but it won't be orange much longer.
