Well that was an abnormal winter, it depends on the wind current, it the storms come in off the mountains, like they usually do, we usually don't get it to bad here, dumps in the high country, but if the storm swirls in from the east it can cause these storms. Usually snows and in two or three days it's gone.
But I don't know if the boiler would clear these big shows very fast!

Yeah, unless you had a system that could put out enough heat to put up with ANY anount of snow rate, temp, and wind velocity, that amount of accumulation would take quite awhile to melt if it stayed cold out. But it can be done. You'd space the tubing much closer together, creating more loops in the system. Enough BTU's at a high enough temp, that chit would never ever stick at all, so no accumulation. Prolly cost a fortune in gas though!
