hmmm  the sun shone, the snow melted, the parking collapsed,

that was a lucky break! one hotel were i work had just completed 2weeks ago a new access road, bottom left of pic, cus of the heavy machinery used in the construction and/or the large skip lorry had caused the roof of an old farm slurry pit to collapse, all of a sudden a big hole appeared in the parking big enough to swallow up 2 cars, luckily nobody and no cars were there at the time, could have been nasty, the big hole was awash with thick muddy water which had to be pumped out and then the whole was filled with stones as shown work in progress.

when i walked home from work at 5.30pm yesterday the snow had all melted, just the remains of the igloo in our garden, then around 6 started some heavy rain which turned into this, u can just make out the igloo with the roof caved in, i guess the boys will be out there l8er to repair it.  Hello 2009, lets hope its a betta year than is predicted, a friend of mine was made redundant late November and my eldest son received the same news on xmas eve.

all that snow is still around,

its 11clock in the morning n the thermometer says -9c outside.........other parts of switzerland have recorded -27c

last friday i managed to shrug off a cold, which was good cus one hotel had there xmas party, partied till 5am, then i had a free hotel room, sat morn with day long hangover i caught a train back to zurich, but since last nite monday i have the flu, head n  body aches,  sore throat, cough temperature, shivers, the full programme,

will only have a couple of days off i hope

I was working outside yesterday 3.5hours, removing xmas deco from the hotel roof terrasse, walking across the street to the gas depot with 4 terrasse heating  etc etc   i guess that didnt help

my wife n her son also have the flu, so please stay away from our house, were contaminated.    lol

I'm in New York, and we had a flurry in the morning. At 29 degrees. Fahrenheit.

Will it end soon? I'll take out the Ultra on Sunday in any case. At least its supposed to be dry.

Ride safely,
Louis

70's here in Colorado for the last few days, went a little over 100 miles yesterday with a couple of friends. Going to cool down tomorrow, possible snow rain mix!

We managed to get a ride in yesterday, 4°c  but its was just to get some fresh air pumped through the motors,

temp here are up to10°c  and then down 0°c at the moment, no cosistency yet.
