103,

Cherokee maybe dry but there are a few places around that you can go one is the ABC liquor store just down the road 10 minutes or across the street from the ABC is a place with a bar up the hill there that serves good food and has a full bar.

Or we can head over to maggie valley itself to eat and be merry.

To bad the casino is dry and that they dont actually deal any cards there ... its a pity.

So Phil,

Are you keeping us in suspense?
Or is this just Florida hype? (Sorry BLM)

Hey HD2003...thanks for thinking of me, but no apology needed.  I ain't from here...don't like it here...don't want to be here.  Thought I was staying in the South when I moved over here, but all the folks from here moved out and went to the Carolina's and Tennessee.  Me, I'm haulin' my little redneck a$$ back to the GREAT STATE OF TEXAS just as soon as business permits.  Chit....just aggravated myself again....

Mr Unbalanced

We can't help it here.
We have a need for speed!
And for the record,  your quote
" Oh my what turned out to be  innocent fun has blown up into something much larger than just the enjoyment of riding, but a contest ...  <tisk tisk> "

That is all it is,,, just fun!
But yes you are right,
It is a contest.
Everytime Nancy and I ride the scooters we race, stop sign to stop sign,, corner to corner,, sometimes we just stop in the middle of the road and then go.
Each time she's on the 95 we see if the SEEG has gotten any faster.
Hell, I raced my neighbors lawnmower with mine (I lost).

So please don't complain that this riding enjoyment has taken a turn for the negative,
remember your the one that wrote about us seeing your tail lights.

We like a challenge!
When I see 5800 in 5th gear and you pass me, THEN your drink is on me!
That's exactly why I'm glad Hubbard don't drink! [smiley=xyxthumbs.gif]

Hey Factory Phil

Your quote,
"Hope this Florida - NC thing turns out like every College Football season. Florida on top."

So, until you see a football pass you at 140,
Just remember,
We ain't playing football!

Yeah, 'er 'uh, Unbalanced,
I have read your topic, and all the replies to it, and just now shook the last bit of Bullchit off my pants leg.  We ain't into HYPE up here, we're into HORSEPOWER!  We don't see tail lights either, all we see is Headlights in our mirrors! [smiley=laugh4.gif]  Come on up here and get you some of it!  We LIVE for it!  I've already BUSTED a 124 and 2, 117's. [smiley=smash.gif]  BTW, I run Zipper's components, not Jim's. [smiley=biggthumpup.gif]  I BUSTED a Jim's 120, too, that quite frankly, was just in the way! [smiley=yes.gif]  Skeered, I ain't, my Brother. [smiley=mean.gif]  I'm waitin' on you!  Don't miss your opportunity to burn gas all the way from FLA, to have a Dumbass Hillbilly on a 1300 lb. Dresser, wear your a$$ out! [smiley=shocked2.gif]  Exit 1, I77-North.  Only Carl Hubbard in the phonebook.  I already know the results.  [smiley=yes.gif] There endeth the lesson.  Later--HUBBARD

Hubbard,

I didnt know that up north there they had Yankee Hillbilly's  I will make a note of it though.   So you busted a couple of weak bikes from your area.  Hell if my stock SEEG gives you a run for your money you are in for a ton Chit I hope its as fast as you say.

The lesson at this point is only in your mind and until it goes down its all hype my Hillbilly Yankee brother :)  its no different on your end.  All we keep hearing is that voice from the teacher in Charlie brown blah blah blah ....

Since the lesson hasn't begun yet, it can not endith cause the SEEGS' aint sung yet.

Side note for a few that asked,

Don't worry all you doubters of the Otis 95 inch we will scope out that new math  and report back what we see and what kind of special things he has such as the possible lifts under the cylinders, cylinder bolt to hide a bigger lower end and things of this nature.   Have no fear the over sized or sleeved cylinders will not go unnoticed.   (however making our intent known just may scare Otis into not coming out to play with us Southerners.)

After all the funning and chit slinging we truely look forward to hooking up with you guys.

Be Safe and we will contact you guys in the near future to try and setup a meet and some riding

Jimp least you could do was post a picture of something more than a 1 banger enduro.

I would have expected a picture of an old skool kawi 1000 or a Hyabusa or a Gixer.

I prefer to try and do it on a V Twin myself.   Obviously you havent been past 130 with a batman fairing cause you will pucker a bit especially when you slow down.[smiley=nervous.gif]

Jimp you should come up to Daytona area sometime soon with your SEEG and go for a ride with me an FactoryPhil.

I don't think my build will be ready for ya'lls little contest, but I'd love to represent my home State of Florida with my totally Zipper's 120 flhtcui setup--though still a warranteed Harley engine, as far as the builder and manager of Jim's Harley in St. Pete is concerened. I'll catch up with you guys sometime, and though I ain't a Redneck, I'll be glad to show you what some real South can do. [smiley=huepfenjump3.gif]

Regards,

axe103--name's gotta change

Hey AXE103

Nothing wrong with that name.
Well maybe AXE120 would be better.
Come on up to NC, the honor and pleasure of your participation will be ours.
Looking forward to meeting you!

Mr. AXE103  (120?)

I have ridden the Dragon in November and it was fine.
Just never know?
Actually it can be tough when all the leaves are falling in Sept and Oct.

Sounds like you got a great dealer. Good luck on the 120.
After you do the dyno stuff and are ready for the real world test come on up and see Hubbard and Otis!
There are no finer teachers.
And if you happen to fail their class, "rejoice" because I offer a 103 summer school edition!

later bud!

Ole Hubbard, (aka yankee hillbilly)

There is no xray vision and surely no professional  just one of those guys that is very meticulous in regards to looking at what can be seen.   I never mentioned looking inside just some of the tidbids that one could look for especially when Otis is using that new math that Twolane speaks of.   Hell you know everything you quoted me on is a VISIBLE give away,  if you know what your looking for.

As for the kryptonite all that is, is that money you threw at a good engine that now glows when you get it hot as you go down the road.

If I lose, I lose, hell I posted to losing to my wife heads up.  There isnt much else that can be more embarassing unless of course Ole Hubbard were to lose.

The 124 will ride again its just a matter of what I decide to put it in.  Currently thinking a Dyna or a superglide passing on the FXR as I dont want to mess with modifying the front motor mount.
