When a bike's perfect for ya, you know it! You do what ya have to do to get that bike. You go beyond that after ya do, and find places like this, with people that relate to the same things. You put even more into it to make it perfect for yourself. Common sense goes out the window. THAT'S PASSION BABY!!! And passion for these bikes is what we have! Don't mistake the complaints for sensless bitching and moaning though. It's just all part of that passion, if ya at least try to do something about your issues. Nothing wrong with calling BS on BS if you're that passionate about something! ;) :2vrolijk_21:

Deal.  You get the "3" and Tbone gets the SERG.  Now, who wants the SEEG?  (Anybody but Don - he'll just trade it . . . . for anything! :P ::) :))

Not true.  Only for something.... well....  you're right.  It's been just about anything so far :confused5:

I have a LIST of what's right with my CVO.....

- Styling is second to none
- With only a little over 1,400 Switchblades made, I don't see another one at every stoplight
- It looks "complete", just the way it comes from the Moco
- My friends know it's me coming from blocks away
- When you see another CVO, you have an instant friend

And last, but not least,
- I got to meet the fine people on this forum

Brian, good topic. I wouldn't part with my Nana for anything, love the look, ride and performance. Wouldn't part with it for 50K, of course I have more than that in it. so I damn well better love it. I do.

I love having a bike that people come over and comment on how great it looks and ask if I or someone else did the 'mods' and I get to tell 'em that it's a HD custom and the MoCo did it all. Giving them the credit is 'priceless'.  ;D  har!  spyder

Most of it except the engine - but that's not so important is it?  Oh wait...

Even with the engine grief, I still love the bike. Have had thoughts of getting something else, but I like the SERK. Will still do the upgrade this winter and keep riding.  :2vrolijk_21:

The view over the windshield of the road ahead, with memories of the road behind still in the mirrors is my favorite thing about my CVO.

Like just about everything, even the things I changed out. Only thing I didn't like was the rear shocks.

But the thing I like most is that this bike was the first new "vehicle" that I walked in, picked the bike I liked, made a deal and wrote a check, and "I" owned it  :2vrolijk_21:

With all the Harley bashing, CVO complaints and general pissin' and moaning about the MoCo I thought a thread might be in order for those who really enjoy their bikes.  Hopefully, some positive comments can afford some relief from the depressing trend.

My comments?  I love my CVO's.  I like the way the MoCo maintains the marketing that holds my dollar investment far better than any other motorcycle.  I liked my 103's and feel even stronger about the 110 potential.  I think the paint and finish work gets better every model.  Thanks HD!   :2vrolijk_21:

Now this is a mighty strange thought.

This IS the CVO Forum and the vast majority of folks in here are CVO riders - guess this means we love em even though they might have a few faults.

Wouldn't swap mine for the World.

I bought the 2008 CVO Springer in 105th colors at the end of march.  I haven't owned a H-D since late 70's.  It was a super glide from the AMF days and a lemon.  After 50 or so miles my a$$ felt like it was shot full of novocaine.  I've owned several other bikes since then but nothing has captured my heart and spirit like my springer.  I  love my bike and how it makes me feel while I'm riding.  I can be having a crappy day and go out for a ride and within a few miles all my troubles seem to blow away in the wind.  I know that many of you have had some problems with the 110B and I might too sometime in the future but I still love how my bike makes me smile. Even my wife encourages me to ride. She says its my therapy session.

There is no perfect bike, that's why many of us have several. As for what I like most about my CVO, it is the bling factor right out of the box.

Yes, Jorge, sold the "Pumpkin".  For me, the timing was right as I like to sell before or in the 5th model year and/or under 20K miles.  Financially, works best for me with the lowest cost per year of use.  Since moving to the mountains my riding has changed a lot in that I don't take any real long haul trips to get to where I want to ride.  The '09 Springer works well for me as I'm in the twisties in about 1/4 mile from home and the way this bike handles has me thinking I'm about 20 years younger ........  ::)

This is important to keep healthy !!!  :2vrolijk_21:
