Festivus is a great holiday.  Especially like the pole & the airing of grievances.

Decided recently to celebrate "regardless".  Not sure what the holiday is all about yet except there are no regards involved. I hope it never has a website - not that there is anything wrong with a website for Festivus.......

A great holiday season will be upon us with Hanukkah, Christmas, Kwanzaa and Festivus in the same week.

I have maintained my "Head of Household" status for many a Festivus as no one can wrestle me down a pin me as lore dictates.

Also no one dare air any grievances, all are to be happy, like it or not.

I have!

One year when we assumed the keg was empty, but when a late arrival was able to draw and drink the 3 required beers before joining in Festivus activities, when realized what had happened, joy overtook us all and no grievances were aired.

As I recal the Feat of Strength happened to be Jagger shots that year, no big whoop.
