I didn't think I'd never see another one for months or I'd have chased him down.

I'd chase em if I could find em. With all the dealers around here and their allotments sold out you would think...  Doc

Rode up to Temecula today Doc. Never been there. One more SoCal dealer without a SERG. AND with the prices that place charges you'd thing they'd have dozens. They had an 05 Banana they're asking $31,500 for. A new standard model Road Glide 22,800 without tax.title doc, freight etc included. I didn't say a word, they're obviously on drugs and no sense in talking to people who are stoned that badly. I was amazed though as I had been at El Cajon H-D yesterday and their prices were below MSRP. I never go to Temecula so I don't know the area. Is everyone up there filthy rich ?

Over here in the UK things are not selling due to the current credit climate. My Dealer rang me to try and sell me a 09 glide but wanted another £10k along with my 3700 mile Duracell so I politely told him I will be keeping my bike for the foreseeable future.I would also have to start from scratch with things like stage one and pipes etc and I have got my bike just right now.I think next year if you are a buyer in Britain it will be a good time to grab a bargain but not if you need to sell.

Thanks to the faded GPD, prices in the UK are very low in comparisson with continental europe, but they don't do CVO RGs on that island!  :(
For the Ultras there is a 25% discount on the island against real money (Euro)!  :orange:

Churchill still must occasionally sit up and smile when thinking about being ridiculed for saying when forced to choose between the Continent and the high seas Britain would take to the seas.

No, but that's what happens when a car dealer opens a Harley dealership. The reason I bought a used bike last time is because of them. They just don't deal...not on the price, trade in, financing, nothing. All the damage to my 98 RG bike and mechanicals before the wreck was done in their shop. So I'll go there for a HOG meeting once in a while but will never trade with them again. I'm blessed and have a good wrench down the street from me when I need one.  Doc

Quaid has always been off their rocker!!!!   SD harley and Biggs are 2 better ones to deal with for prices.  My silver SERG was the first one Biggs got.  Needless to say the day it arrived they could have sold it 20 times!  One gentleman told me to name my price for it.  He offered over $40k.  Turned it down.  Just could not wait any longer after setting my eyes on it.
You would think that with 7500 SEUC's supposedly being produced this year that dealers would have a couple but they have been really scarce.  Been waiting to look at the silver and blue but have yet to see one.  I have only seen the orange one's.

As someone mentioned earlier.  I do not think its so much the times as its the season.  You Northerner's pack the scooters in the garage for the winter.  Who wants to buy a new scooter and then lock it in the garage.  Send all the SERG's to the south and they will sell!  Although it took 2 weeks for the yellow one to sell.  The O/B and especially the silver one's would'nt last a day!   I've seen the Springers, Dyna's and RK's sit on the floor for months.  In fack there's a 09 Yellow SE Fat Bob thats sitting in Bigg's since early Sept.

With the shortage of silver SERG and some of the others, do you feel there will be an increased risk of theft this year?  It has always scared me and especially now.

That's key.......and the point where we really start expending disposable income.

I'm pretty much stuck with the green bike for the rest of my life.  No worries.   :2vrolijk_21:

Saw a yelloe SERG at HD dealer in Houston last month and they were asking $39K, or about $8K over MSRP. Pretty bike, but I just laughed.

In the last week or so, I've found six SEUC's within a three hour drive. Five of them are Ruby Red and one is Silver/Blue. The closest one is being held until his wife quits screaming about the high cost and the next closest has a deposit on it waiting for a loan to go through. The local dealer has a good reputation and offers some incentives so we're trailering the Fatboy there tomorrow. I want them to nail down some figures and hopefully pressure them into taking theirs off hold. If that doesn't work out, we're heading to a dealer two hours from here that promises $250 under my best "documented" price.

These dealers claim to be doing well so asking for incentives may fall on deaf ears. What do you guys consider a good deal right now ? MSRP + what thrown in ?
