Man, they should give you guys a Reality Show so we can see how youze get into this chit in the first place, not just where youze wound up!!! I'd love to see live footage of you maniacs!!!

Young hill climbers would be a lot more entertaining to watch than a couple of middle age boondockers. Our fun begins when tracks from the others in the area stop. We spend most of our time negotiating safe passage through rugged mountain terrain. This would make a terrible video, but I can tell you that it is an absolute scream when you can do it effectively. Look again at the photos from the western end of the Uintas taken last March; for the most part the tracks you see are ours alone. This is remarkable when you consider that this is Salt Lake City’s back yard, over a 4 day period, which includes a weekend.
The local folks generally don’t offer to share their riding areas with tourists. The RSBC-LocalAccess photo illustrates an exception. The locals hand shovel a narrow path, several hundred feet long, into one of the most incredible areas on the Planet. The reason for shoveling the path is that if you didn’t make this short stretch, you would probably need a helicopter to get your machine out.
The BritishColumbia.jpg photo, a couple of posts above, is from the exit side of the hand shoveled path, as is one of my favorite photos below, RSBC-PromisedLand.jpg. The RSBC-TimeToGo photo was taken as we left this area, just a little behind schedule. The fog in the photo is the camera flash reflecting off my breath.
It may seem that this thread was shamelessly hijacked, because it was; although it happened so quickly, it seemed the natural thing to do.
