09 - SERT OR PC Question for the Experts.
« on: December 25, 2008, 09:33:11 PM »

I know it's been asked before but I've also read that the 09's are different.
What is the recomendation for the 09's if you remove the cc and change the exhaust.

I have only had one other suggestion so far.  Any others?

While I am somewhat biased I would recommend the TTS Mastertune product. It does more for the same or less money than any other tuner on the market. With the V-tune program that comes with Mastertune you can do the tuning yourself and get a very good running bike. You get free updates, a full data logging package, V-tune as well as Mastertune. Since we were the developers and manufacture of the SERT we know it well and Mastertune will blow it away.

Mastertune will allow you to "dial it in" probably closer than any other system. If you want to get to 100%, have a good dyno tech do it for you.
Some are satisfied with 99%, some HAVE to have 100%, just depends what you want. Me? I'm satisfied with my old carb!! Shows how much I know!!!
BTW: Give Steve C. a call, if he can't answer your questions, no one can!!!

I live in the Houston area and have no clue as to who a good tuner would be to do this for me.
Any recommendations would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks for your advice, I have been reading your other posts and I am overwhelmed at your knowledge on the subject.

:-X Just confuses me more, as fate would have it, Friday morning I show up at the squealer and alas, Super tuner, the had one in stock the week before, but no one pulled it and it got sold to some one else, searched  around and none to be found in Nashville. So, I still need a tuner. quickly.
