Tour pack relocation kit
« on: January 05, 2009, 08:54:09 PM »

I just purchased a 2007 SE Ultra Classic.  Kuryakyn makes a tour pack relocation kit for the standards Ultra Classics but not for the SE tour pack.  I have been told this is because of the premium sound system, or the amp under the tour pack.  They do not not plan on making one so I am looking for some suggestions on how to gain about 2-3" for my passenger by moving back the tour pack.  Another option would be for me to purchase a used tour pack in the non leather covered style and see if that would work.  Any suggestions?  Thanks.

Hey Robenel,

I remember seeing a post awhile back about a guy that makes them.  I will look around for you and see if I can dig it up.  Welcome from Soutern New Jersey.  Randy

Enter New Product comfort slide for tour packs and hit search.  This is an old post and gives several options, including the one I mentioned and Naitram noted.

Agree with Naitram, I have George's relocation part and very happy with it. Have your checkbook ready cause he don't do credit cards. Great part and great service.

You may want to try using the search feature next time. I got this when I did - 07 CVO's delayed??? There is a name/address/phone number in that post. I don't believe Mr. Anderson has an email address and I know he doesn't have a website.

From Naitram's reply to your request earlier:

goto the search page and search for George Anderson
And, Fired00d's reply this morning:

George has excellent quality stuff and is a great guy to work with.   :2vrolijk_21:

I bought one of his kits and he sent it before my check got there.  He said he's never been stiffed by a Harley rider.
