GK, you got it right! "Luogo" would be "sito", as in "website", but its a very minor difference...!

Dave,

Rosta is a small village, about 18 km (11 mi) west of Torino (Turin), at the beginning of the valley of Susa (Val di Susa), about 90 km (50 mi) from the border with France, in the North-West of Italy. For reference, Torino is the city where FIAT (the automotive Company) is based and where the winter Olympic games were held in 2006. Because I'm in the western Alps, very few "straight" roads and many, many twistys... You might say: "not HD country and even less for a tourer", but I can assure you that I enjoy each and every twist I take with my Ultra. Couldn't be happier on a so called nimble bike. Just keep the speed under control and don't be a "jerk" (if you know what I mean).

Admiral (And all the others too),

Thanks for your (and everybody else's!!!) reception! It is really heart warming to know that you can be a perfect stranger, but still not cause people to over (or under) react and just take him/her for what he/she is... I really feel good.

I will definitely keep you all informed when I decide to go ahead with my plan... I really wish it was this year!

With regards to photographs, I've found a software that allows me to resize my pics (not Irfan, since I'm a Mac user and for Mac users it isn't freeware...!). I've got them down to 440 Kb but I'm still not able to upload them on my profile... I must be doing something wrong...??!! I'll keep trying...
