I don't know if anybody saw this...D&D Boss Pipes for Bagger for 2009...they talk about their 2-1 not needing a tuner to use them   http://www.danddexhaust.com/news/2009/01/2009_2_into_1_b.htm

What's the difference between these and the Fat Cats?  Anyone?

Sure looks a hell of a lot like a FatCat to me... even mentions two different baffles available.

Tuning not required?  Pretty hard to make additional power without additional air and then additional fuel to go with it. Total BS.

Does D&D make a left-side falsie for the FatCat? I can't find it on their web site.

They do.  the only place I saw them listed is in the price sheets.  Find the link for the price sheet, scroll down to find the part number for the pipes and the ghost pipes are listed with them.

Has anybody tried the Vance and Hines "power duals"??
I am not a huge fan of the looks but maybe the do a little better on the dyno then the "dresser duals"

I have a set sitting in my garage, but have't put them on.  Waiting to get a tune when I put them on.  Probably going to do Woods cam, exhaust and power commander at the same time.

Are you saying you have the Power Duals or Dresser Duals in your garage?  You have to have the Dresser Duals, as the Power Duals are still not available.  Latest update on the Power Duals is they were to be released by Vance Hines this past Friday 2/6/09 and Drag Specialties shows expected inventory to begin this coming Friday 2/13/09.  Unless I'm missing something, of course.

The quality looks good, but I haven't installed them yet.  If I had not already purchased these, I would be considering Steve's modification also.  Hopefully I can have these installed and tuned in a couple of weeks.

Where did you get the Power Duals?  I was told that they weren't available yet.

They had these or you got these?  http://www.vanceandhines.com/product_zoom/touring-09-powerduals/powerduals.html  The reason I am asking is a lot of people seem to be confusing the Power Duals and the Dresser Duals.  The power duals are the 2-1-2 system just like the stock system.

I just found a set of these listed on ebay.  Maybe it's just that Drag Specialties won't have them until the 13th.
