Front speaker trim to match gauges
« on: January 25, 2009, 04:54:57 AM »

Somewhere, I recently saw trim rings for the front speakers that match what's around the rest of the gauges, but I can't remember where I saw them.  Does anybody have a clue where to find them?

Very nice pieces. But the price: Ouch.  :o
The Moco trim rings have been around for a decade and can be had for around $25.

Larry, they have some nice stuff there.  A little pricey.  Not the ones I'm looking for though. Thanks.

The ones I am looking for look just like all the other gauge trim rings, except larger.  Just a ring around the edge only.  They were about $80 or $90 and I thought I saved the site, but apparently I didn't.

Those are nice.  Never saw those before.  The ones I was looking for don't have the bar going through the center...just the outer ring that look identical to the ones around the gauges. If I don't find them again, I'll think about these.

I'm getting involved here since I do not really care for the Moco ones either. So please post what you find, or buy with pictures.

Thanx!

The problem I have with all except the Covington version, is they glue on to the speaker.

I remember someone here on this site had what you are looking for and when asked about them they stated they were the origional MOCO ones but he cut the center bar off.  I believe they are plastic and you can cut them with an exacto blade.

No, these were from an outside company.  I'm searching all over right now trying to find them.  In the process, I was looking at the Dakota Digital Gauges and they look pretty interesting also.  In their photo of them on their website, they show a metal speaker grille that covers the entire from speakers.  It looked nice too...assuming I went with the digital gauge package.  I think if I found a place that had them and could through them in on the spot, I'd go for it.  Maybe I'll find them at a bike rally this year.
