Picked the bike up from Jim's yesterday. He put the gear drive cams, Arlen Ness Big Sucker air cleaner, Master Tune tuner, and the HD dresser pull back handle bars (2" back). The HD catalog and HD web site says that you can't use them with the fairing mounted mirrors however Terrie had Jim just lower them a bit and she can use the mirrors just fine. It also helped her in that it brought the grips even closer to her........helping to relieve the pain between her shoulder blades.
Andy and I had a ride planned for today however, I was watching the weather report on TV yesterday and reported to Andy that we had a cold front coming from Alaska and it was supposed to drop all the way down to 34F...........so we cancelled. Got up this morning and it was 62F (I must have been watching the news for Lake Tahoe..........sorry Andy!) so Terrie and I got up and headed up into the hills and down Hwy. 49 to Jamestown.....through Oakdale (stopped at the Cheese Factory!) and into Stockton before heading back up to Sacramento.
We put 200 miles on the clock and Terrie's happy with the bars........no pain and she said not even a flinch in her back or neck. She's also very happy with the new performance........now she can pass vehicles on a two lane road when I do.

Although, due to the new throttle response, she said she has to practice her slow speed manuvers now (I guess that kind of thing is different for a woman). She did get up to 90-95 mph a couple of times on the freeway.........surprised me. I actually had to ask her a couple of times to slow down before we got a ticket (I was just trying to keep up........cuz I'd never ride that fast.
