I took mine very quickly from standing start to just over 100 mph last week and didn't make it past 5th gear.  If I wouldn't have had traffic up ahead, I would say I had a lot of room left to go and still kick it to 6th.  Someday, I'll have to find that perfect highway to try it out.

That's impressive.  How did she handle?

If that question was aimed at me...GREAT!  I had my first passenger aboard today.  I jumped on it and took it from 0 to about 90 up a small grade, and I heard "Yee Haw" from behind.  She said that was fun...let's do it again.  I just met the little lady for the first time last night and asked if she'd like to go for a ride today if we had a decent day.  She called me this morning and said it's warm enough for her if I still wanted to go (and it was in the 40's).  I realized that she actually knew what she was getting into when I showed up and found her sitting there waiting for me with her chaps on.  After 150 miles in, I asked if she was getting tired.  She said "it doesn't get dark until later now, unless you are tired".  So we put another 50 miles on before I decided I needed to drop her off and get home before dark myself.  So, basically I'm answering this question from 2 perspectives.  The bike handled great and she handled great also.  I've been in need of a good passenger.

Dave Dave Dave, we have q's, did she leave burnt rubber on your pipes, and when you said She handled great, what exactly did you mean, Sounds to me you got a detailing buddy, Gas, Grass, azz, or detail, no one rides for free.

Hmmm...do I really want to post a pic of this girl that I just met last night?  I already know of one person from the tiny little town she lives in that is on this forum.

Not talking about inseam...that would be the length of the legs on her pants, wouldn't it?  I'm not quite sure what that would mean in the general scheme of things.  She does fit on the back seat without a tourpack relocator and with the rider backrest still in place, so she doesn't qualify as a heffer anyway.  I did remove the backrest anyway, so I could use her as my backrest.  If I don't need a tourpack relocator, she's already saving me money.

Okay, so she already cost me almost as much as a relocator with dinner and drinks last night alone.  I know I'm in trouble if I start weighing the price of dinner and drinks against the parts I could have purchased with that money.  Now you have me wondering if I should have just spent last night at the dealer instead.
