And ended up buying another motorcycle. They had a leftover 2008 CVO Dyna in the anniversary color scheme and I was mentioning to the owner that I was considering purchasing a 'bar hopper' for cruising around town to go along with my CVO Roadglide. I said I was looking to stay below $20K and was considering a Rocker C, or maybe a low mileage used bike. He walked me right over to the '08 CVO Dyna and tole me I could have it for $5K off the sticker which put the price at $20,500. No shipping or prep charges. I was extremely surprised by how much the unit was being discounted but since I live in the Detroit area where the economy is a disaster, I guess I'm not shocked. Pus, the anniversary color scheme is a bit polarizing. (I happen to like it on the CVO Dyna). It seemed like an awful lot of bike for the money. We pulled up the VIN on the computer to make sure the engine gasket upgrade had already been completed by the factory and I signed the papers. I'm adding a heavy breather air cleaner and a set of Vance & Hines short shot pipes and that's about it. Today I'm making room for it in the garage and trying to figure out what to tell the wife. Suggestions are welcome.
