Would you get rid of your CVO?
« on: February 05, 2009, 07:35:54 PM »

A recent reply to a question prompted me to start a poll.  If you could break even on the "$$$" invested in your CVO because you are so dissatisfied, would you get rid of it?  I've offered a few options, but I'm sure there may be others which would be more suitable.  Anyhow, I was just curious, let's see how brand loyal we really are.  For what it's worth, I'll hang onto mine as long as I can still safely ride.  Okay, let her rip!

I've highlighted your operative word.  I'm not.  She's a keeper!   :2vrolijk_21:

Ask one of the mods to fix it.
I'm sure for a small minimum charge they will.

I was actually at the end of this stick back in Aug 2007 on my X 2007 CVO Ultra with less then 1,500 miles. I can't go into details because an NDA is involved. But after 'new motor' number two, I now own a 2008 non CVO which was better than a 'break even' event for me. You could say i was extremely dissatisfied with the 2007 CVO and concerned about it's reliability since I broke down 200 miles away from home on two occasions. Don't get me wrong, I'm not bashing CVO's just certain year models. My wife owns a 2004 Electraglide CVO and we love this bike and i don't think we will ever depart of it. This bike has been dependable and worthy of it's Harley Davidson name.  :2vrolijk_21:

hehehe.....that's the way I feel about my 02 Ultra.  But I couldn't justify two baggers.  If I'd have known I was gonna miss it this much, I'd kept the damn thing and just dealt with the simperin'
There's one reason I now have two baggers........one of them an 02.   :2vrolijk_21:
