That's an old post John - and this is the bike Brian has been talking to you with the 575 cams

Ok. I've asked him some questions. Waiting on an answer.  :)

The fairing brackets broke before I added a single thing  :nixweiss:

Speakers brackets - on the third set
Need to replace both of these on my bike and only thing I've changed is the speakers to HogTunes (thanks MoCo :(). :nixweiss:

"Supposedly" there is a "A/B..." version of the braces now (don't have the P/N's w/me at the moment to confirm) and hopefully they will be better quality. I don't have the ability nor the capability to weld/repair existing so I'll give the replacement/new parts a try.

58478-96b, 58479-96b $39.10 for the fairing brackets.

Just looking at them last night.

I'd recommend finding a welder for the smaller speaker ones, otherwise you're just going to have to replace he new ones, I went through three sets before I learned.

Thanks. I had the numbers written down but just wasn't at that location when I posted yesterday. Good to hear the newer/updated speaker brackers are "better". Fortunately I haven't upgraded anything other than the speakers and don't have a lot of weight in the fairing... well really unfortunate now that MoCo and aftermarket have much better stereo's I'm realizing how weak my system is. :(

C'mon - give it up -lay it out - I got one up on ya  :2vrolijk_21:

Gary - in the end I spent a lot of coins on the stereo. Bob never spent a dime and could hear his just as well.
And now my music  for traveling is all piped into the helmet anyway.

Around town, with a half helmet, the factory stuff would have been fine.

I wish... dumb @$$ me got a promotion... only way to make that promotion worthwhile (pension) is to stay 36 months after the promotion (raise) since pension is based on highest 36 months salary... I'm stuck working another 30+ months before retiring. :zstupid:
