Thought I'd let ya'll know what I found.  Turns out the oil wasn't coming from the air cleaner, it just looked like it cause the air cleaner was catching so much of it, with the cover off and taking shorter rides I narrowed it down to the pushrod tubes, couldn't get down to only 1 tube though, looked like all of em were leaking.  Figuring I might have gotten the top and middle o-rings confused I pulled the pushrods (Thank God for adjustable pushrods) and started putting in new o-rings (had an extra set) the other way (more later), well about the 3 pushrod I find the bottom o-ring with about 1/4 of it missing....guess I clipped it off putting it in.  Oh well, finish what I'm doing and get it all back together.  And it seems I have no more leaking after about 150 miles today......woohoo....

But....while talking to a mech about it at one of the HD shops, seems I switched the o-rings to the WRONG way now, oops.......he pulled up the parts list then pulled one of the top ones out to show me......Yup, I got em in wrong, but it ain't leakin.....so I'm done screwin with it.....til it leaks again... :'(

Thanks for all the suggestions, not knowing after being into the engine that far had me a bit concerned......

Gotta ask, what is good oil pressure ? At idle and it highway speeds...........................Fuzz

I have a 103 with a Fueling oil pump. It normally runs about 40 psig at cruising speed and 15-20 at idle

So do you still have the high oil pressure?

I installed a new Heavy Breather with the wrong breather bolts some time ago. The crankcase pressured up and lifted one of the pushrod covers. The lower o-ring pushed up and over the push rod cover. Like yours, mine sprayed oil all over the front of the bike and made a mess. I managed to hold up the push rod cover and maneuver the o-ring back down and into position. When I started the bike back up and checked the oil, there was a significant pressure relief when I unscrewed the dipstip. That's when I knew there was a breather bolt problem.

At initial start up it's a hair below 60, after about 30 miles or so it drops down to about midway between 32 and 60, gauges aren't accurate I'm sure, but that is better pressure than I had before, was always 32 or under......at idle now it drops to about midway between 0 and 32......so thats up also.

Yeah, I could see that causing an issue.....must be an '07 or newer, the older style oil dipstick would have blown out under those circumstances, except the LCD one that had to be twisted to come out.

I have a 131" with a Feuling Super Pump and it has 18-20 psi at idle and 40-45 psi while cruising...
