I would ask how much they cost ? The reason being that every so often I get the urge to go out and buy a new bike even though I love my SERK Why ? well probably because I'm tired of seeing the other 3199 H-D built or whatever.  Now I agree with the general consent here that these things are kinda weird and kinda Arlen and all, but your SERK would definitely look different than the rest. And some times that's what we're all after is a different look. I mean I've seen bikes that were so well done, I would have loved to have copied them down to the last nut and bolt, but that's not what it's about is it ? So there's a little part of me that understands stuff like these sportskirts. I don't think they're a mass market item and I imagine the poor SOB that is promotin em will lose his ass in the end, but give the dude credit, he came up with an idea we didn't think of

Absolutely true Spider.  And for that matter a lot of (seemingly) weird ideas have surprised us.  Hell, I've still got a Pet Rock stuck back in a night stand drawer.  And while I'm glad the original ideas weren't mine someone somewhere has made a dime or two from "boy bands," The Roseanne Barr Show, bras, those ugly handlebar mounted radio pods for Road Kings, plaid socks and the French (not in any order of priority).  So you can never know what the next even semi-popular idea might be.

Harry, there's one on each side.  So it'd have to be DOUBLE FUGLY!

latest issue of QuickThrottle has a write-up on these. Still no price listed. I called Skip Fordyce H-D in Riverside as they are listed as a dealer. They didn't know an effin thing about em. Who started this stupid ass marketing idea of not listing prices on things. My guess is that they're not only on the strange side, they're on other side of ridiculous price-wise. Sounding more and more like something from Arlen Ness all the time

Grover, I knew it. $795  that seals the deal  I won't even feel sorry for the Ness wanabe that invented these things now. As to why anyone would buy em ???  Look no further than some of the chit in your (strictly generic man- - no offense OK ) old lady's closet.

A friend of mine pointed those out to me last month where it was in Thunder Press. I threw up :'(
I really don't understand this guy's thinking. Why on God's green earth would I want to pay money for them, then remove my hard bags to put them in place, AND loose that storage. Probably has too much time on his hands, or else he is a crack baby? Dude! Put the pipe down...(I really do not mean to be mean)
