Thanks for taking a minute and pitching in here. My bike finally came and is resting (48 miles), in the shop awaiting less snow . I had a set of Bub 7 slipons coming, but when I called to see if they shipped, I was told the tips had bad chrome and are all being sent back to the chromer. Same with the true duals.....and that they would all be at least another month to ship.
So, now I'm thinking no cat and either the 96" header pipe or true duals, or Fullsac coring (and maybe muff cores). I spent the other night reading the 12 pages of exhausting (pun intended) thread, but would like more specific info now that many have taken action on their scoots. So thanks again for jumping in and helping me out with current info. I am not going back to a 2-1 system like I had on the last UC, for personal reasons, so not interested in info regarding those installations.
1. How many true dual systems are out there available to buy today (not still being developed) and who are they, and where to buy if you found a good source?
2. If you changed your muffs or system, what did you do and what changes did you feel, find, like, not like, document, etc.?
3. Would you rate both the sound decibels (1-10 loudest) and desireability of the sound (same...1-10 best)? If your ridding buddies disagree, what is their perspective?
4. If you didn't go true duals, what did you do and how do you rate it to the above questions?
5. If you know, what are you getting for mileage after these mods?
6. Any problems installing your system or with product fitments?
Appreciate all your help as usual. This has been one of the best BB I've ever been involved with.
