That was the Dealer price, This was at the Cinci Dealer Show.

For what's its worth the retail price on this kit is not bad at all considering what you get.
A new complete rear frame, Seat, Side covers, and all mounts.

I sat on a bike with the kit on it at the show and it was very comfortable. Can't wait for some to order one from me, I have a couple people interested already. I will be sure to post install pics.

There will also be a weld on kit for earlier frames.

I have to agree that the retail price isn't bad at all for the components included. Sure is less expensive than a new frame. It is the same price as a Legends air! For the average rider this may not be for you. For the vertically challenged, hell yes. As for the bar comment, so what, most Road Glide guys change the bars anyway., pull backs, apes etc.

I once thought that the price of an FBI bike was hi. Than the 09 SERG came out without a tour pack and fairing lowers. Other than the CVO resale value the FBI IMO is far better all the way around. Look at the number of CVO's purchased than are torn apart to satisfy the owners preferences. You would order your FBI bike right out of the box the way you want it. When was the last time a CVO dealer offered much more than a color option?

Than again this is just my opinion...............

Yeah, I was thinking that the price was not unrealistic.....that's a lot of work to design and mfg. that frame section and relocate the necessary parts to lower the rider that much.  It will make the scooter much more 'rideable' for smaller riders also.  Pull-backs would be a req'ment for sure.  Add the Legend air and you could sit like on a hardtail.  :coolblue: har!  spyder
