Update....
I just got back from a little camping trip/test run on the '09-96" bike (my "mule") to test some changes and how they performed.
Stats:
Stock 96" motor
Stock 96" catless head pipe
Fullsac 1.75" CVO mufflers
Screaming Eagle air cleaner
TTS tuner
Steve's dyno map (from his 96" bike, he also has a map for the 110)
Results:
from 38 to 42 MPG, this is from sea level to 4000', 2-up, pulling a fully loaded camp trailer!
Roads ranged from tight twisties to freeway, up to 70 mph
Bike started and ran flawlessly, great reduction in heat given off by the motor, confirmed by oil temp gauge, and IR thermometer.
I can run with my buddies Gold Wing with NO problems.

Testimonial:

With the changes on this bike, I will do the others same way. Totally different bike! I love it!

Steve: thanks for doing all the "grunt work" on YOUR bike, and sharing the results. I could not be happier, and will probably drop by on our way outta town in a few weeks.

Thanks for the report Mike!
54 cams are going in my 96 soon. Fuel map will be available.

i recently put the RUSH slip-ons, on my 09 UCSE4. after 500 miles, the right side one, is turning blue. these and a screamin' eagle air cleaner, are the only upgrades, i have done, so far. also, the heat coming from the right side of the bike, really sucks. i traded in an 05 SEEG2 for this bike and never had a heat problem, like this. is it just a benefit of owning an 09? I've sent an e-mail to RUSH and complained, but i think i already know, what their answer will be. i think I'll switch to the VANCE & HINES, MONSTER OVALS. >:( :(

I had Rush mufflers on my '06 CVO Ultra.  They also turned blue on the right side.  Just and idea- maybe your CVO muffler shields will fit around the Rush mufflers.  -I believe they are also 4".

I just ordered the 2.25" baffles and the TTS Mastertune from Steve at Fullsac. Steve has already e-mailed me the map and sent out the order all in very short time. If this all works as well as everyone says I will be yet another very satisified Fullsac customer. So far they are fantastic to deal with.

I am also going with the Fullsac converted mufflers.
I have one question though.
Where are the cats on the '08 bikes?  Are they in the header pipes?  Do they come out with the baffles?  :nixweiss:

The cats are in the exhausts and they come out not with the baffles.
You need to drill cats.

On the 08's?  I thought they were in the mufflers on the 08's and only started putting them in the head pipes in 09.

Geez......NOW I gotta wait to see how THAT setup works!
I gotta admit, my 96" is way fun to ride now, not as much power as the larger engines, but, plenty of torque down low, very nice for low rpm driveability.
If I have the urge to go fast, I'll just take the other bikes (WITHOUT the trailer!)
Thanks again, Steve!

I don't think the Rush are 4".  I had a set a couple years ago and I thought they were 3" or 3.5".

You're probably right.
I think Fullsac sells 4" mufflers.  Maybe you could use the muffler shields on those.
This "chase" to find the right exhaust is ALMOST humorous.  Is there really muffler heaven?  :confused5:

OK Steve....."soon" is kinda relative...lol.  I'm itching to toss in a set of cams into my new '09 96" Road Glide to add to your 2" recores with TTS Mastertune.  Needless to say, your test of the 54 cams has my interest.  That cam looks great on paper for these bikes.

Steve,

Why 54 cams over the 32H. Is it because hi-lift springs would be required on a 96"? 32H is a bolt-in for the 110".

By the way I did install a catless 09' header pipe with the 2.25 Fulsac baffels, next is the TTS Mastertune download from Steve. That will produce 95 hp and 110 torque according to Steves dino runs. Not bad for not getting into the motor and spending roughly $625.00 if you do it yourself.

I agree this is the ticket!!! :carrot: :bananarock: :orange: :huepfenjump3: :pepper:

The 32 intake closes at 46 deg compared to the 54 closing at 42 deg. I would really like to see an intake closing of about 40 deg so the bottom end would hit a little harder. The 32 would work very well at about 10-10.5 comp. Out here in the AZ desert at 400' elevation running crap 91 octane gas, you can't get away with that much comp. I run my own stuff at about 9.6-9.8 max on the compression.

Steve,

You should get my mufflers tomorrow. Which baffle do you reccomend for the 103 with 255's?  I want the best performance, but don't want pipes so loud that I can't hear the stereo, LOL....
