Don, hate to be an alarmist, but it looks like someone stole the left muffler off both your bikes...
OH NO!!!

Actually.... when I made the change on the red bike now a couple years ago it was a hard thing to do. I'd used true duals forever. Loved the more open right side, slightly improved ease of maintenance and the overall look. Had used the old White Brothers E Series mufflers on bike after bike with dual headpipes because they could be tuned so well. Great mufflers for torque.
Then the mufflers went the way of the dinosaurs.
After my last set of E Series had a baffle break inside one of them had to make a change. Was doing the engine work on the red bike around that time and really fussed over the 2-1 change. It was a hard choice to make. Was worried I'd never get used to the look.
Took about a week.
I'm sure it helped that the damn things run so well. I like the sound too. But in about a week's time I was accustomed to the change and just fine with it. Liked it so well put it on the SERG after getting it.
I never entertained doing the ghost pipe though. Paying for something else to clean and maintain that does absolutely nothing wasn't an option for me. I'm too lazy for that.
