I have been useing the Digital Dipstick, and check with boiling water it reads 213*  here at sea level , so it is close.  New bike no tune 260* with outside temps in the 80s. Also non cat headers and full sac 2.25" baffles. about 300 miles on the clock.   Doc

As I said in another thread. since you don't have a tune yet, it will run hot. once you tune it it will drop the temp. running lean= runs hot, running rich= runs cooler, the tune should find the sweet spot.
How do you like the 2.25's, I have the 2's and was thinkin about changin

CUSE4 was at 270 with syn3 with dipstick. Metal temp on the the rear head aft of the the plug around 380. At the 1k I put Mobil1 V Twin, dropped to 250-260, metal temp 360, now at 3500 miles...Redlline with shockproof in the the tranny and primary with mtl in the chain case...

I will pipe n tune(D&D fc wit QB)  at the 5k and go to the 20-60 redline motoroil. Cant wait to get the cat off, it is cookin my foot...

I like them alot, and my friends like the note, deep rumble. No notice of loss of power. There a keeper for me. But like the windshields they may not be for everyone.

Are you sure you meant 125°F, or maybe it was 125°C (257°F)?

With the install of 2 10 core Jagg coolers running in tandum I'm hoping for rear temp between 210 & 220.

I'll let you know how it turns out  :-X

110 Celsius (approx. 230 Fahrenheit) after a good stretch of motorway and some stops at traffic lights in the city. On the digital dipstick. I though 110 is a great temperature for the bike ;-). That is using the Screamin' Eagler air filter, Super SERT and KESS mufflers.

Ride safely,
