Hello & question about Road Glide mufflers
« on: April 21, 2009, 11:55:17 PM »

Brand new to this forum, I hope I am doing this right.. Just brought home a new 09 CVO Road Glide. Well I almost brought it all home.. I picked up the new bike in Salem, Oregon and started home to Seattle and the right saddlebag fell off at 65 MPH on the freeway.. The dealer says they will replace it since I had just left the dealership and had never had the bag off..They must have forgot to lock it on..
Question: Does anyone know who makes a slip on muffler for the CVO Road Glide. I called around a little today with no luck. This bike is so quiet that I can hardly hear it run..
Again, I don't know the ins and outs of this forum so I hope I am doing this correctly.

Hello to all

Hi Scotty

Welcome to the CVO Forum.  Yep, time to make your SERG start sounding like a Harley... you'll find all the info you need to make that happen right here at this site.  I've gone with the FullSac option, 2" baffle replacement.  Way too easy and cost effective.

Welcome from the SF Bay Area!

Sucks to hear about your mishap. Maybe you should look for a new dealer to do the services on your bike if they can't remember to turn and lock 2 pins for your saddlebag. How long until you get the replacement? Hope nobody behind you was hurt when it came off and no damage to other vehicle around you.

What else are they giving you for that embarrassing moment?  :nixweiss:
