Rebel,

Mine didn't work either.  Took back to the dealer and they had to replace both the transmitter and receiver.  Took a week for the new ones to come in.

Mine is still on the bike and in the box at the factory!  Sorry, just a one man pity party. I hope your fix is as painless as possible, keep us posted [smiley=xyxthumbs.gif]

Hmm, I wonder what diagnostic/decision process went in to that?  Probably something like this was logic stack:

1) Two parts, wonder which one is bad?  [smiley=nixweiss.gif]
2) I'll just order both!  [smiley=xyxthumbs.gif]
3) There's another completion in the day's work log.  [smiley=drink.gif]

Navy Bear mine is not working either and I have not had time to get to the stealer.  I have tried every which way and no good.

I have a Genie and was wondering if anyone has their opener working with a Genie [smiley=nixweiss.gif]

Mine didn't work at first.  I have the old one off the old Ultra that I was putting on her bike.  I got the new receiver to do everything it was supposed to, but it wouldn't open the door.  You could even hear the relay inside the receiver toggle the opener, but it wouldn't work.  So I put the old one back (they've SLIGHTLY changed the size of the plug on the end of the wire >:(), and everything worked fine.  Then I tried one last time with the new one and then it worked.  I don't know whether throwing the receiver across the garage had any impact on it's abilities, but the relay inside works now! You may want to try this...try giving her one more "flick" of the thumb...in other words, toggle from low, to high, back to low.  (or viceversa if on high to begin)

I don't think toggeling from low to high will do it.  I believe it takes that one last step to get the thing to transmit.

Good luck, J

Mine had a bad transmitter as well. Got it replaced and everything is fine. I'd say they aren't tested on the bike.

It works!!!  [smiley=huepfenjump3.gif]  Stealer replaced the transmitter and voila.  Although they did scratch  >:( the back side of my front fender in the process... at least the garage door opener works.  What a bunch of yahoos the service depts employ... I also had my radio replaced and the screen on the new one fogs up.  When I called service to let them know, they said drop off the bike so we can investigate the problem... ??????  Investigate????
