I advertised for a pipe on Craig's list. Had a call with in 48 hours.
$150 dollars for a complete Street Glide system muffles, heat shields, header pipe.
Most people I know are paying $150 to $200 for the non-cat headers.
Now what to do with the mufflers?

I asked my dealer to look for take offs. It took several months, but i got it for no charge. I did pay the dealership to switch it out, about one hour labor. Seemed like the right thing to do.

My dealer sold me a set for $50.00.  They would normally trash them after a while.  I had them install it.  I agree that $150 to $200 is normal.

One hour at the dealer was well worth it.

I didn't like the idea of drilling our the header to remove the cat.  Made a huge difference.

I would have spent a lot more.

Do these mufflers have CATs or not ?
Would you please post a pic of them ?
Often they are different looking than the EUs .
The US-CVO mufflers are also different than the EU-CVO mufflers .
I rode a 2009 Streetglide in Florida a few weeks ago and the mufflers looked the same as the ones on my SERG here in germany .

Has anybody a HD number for this CAT-free header ?
To order from a dealer and get a price ? ( for us germans )
I found it allready ,
The Cat-free header should be the HD 66848-09 .

The price in US dollars is $495 from my dealer.  Expensive.

Several HD dealers in the US will sell it at about 20% off.

Still expensive.

Good Luck!

My dealer wanted $100. which was a good price.  I had already chopped ripped and welded my header by the time I found out he had a set...   in fact the dealer didn't even know there was a difference between cat and non-cat headers.

These mufflers do not have cats in them.
Here is a picture of what they look like. It's a ebay picture of what the muffles looks like.
I am out of town and can't get a picture of them until the weekend.
I do believe they are the same as what comes on International models.

My local dealer, a good one in my Opinion, Smoky Mountain has not had any 09 Take offs for the head pipe.  They know it is a prettty good factory head pipe and not much to be gained by removing it.

I tried E-bay for a while but they were going for 150 or more.

Got tired of waiting and cut mine with a band-saw.  Got the cat out and had a neighbor weld it back for me, his welds are much better than the factory did.  He was an air frame welder for boeing.

So my cost was the time to remove, get the cat out and re install, total about 2.5 hours.

Then the standard 09ers don`t have any CAT in the US ?
The mufflers in EU have a smaller diameter core at the left side ( exhaust control )and CAT in the header .
