How many have the Guardian Bells hanging on their Bike?

In 2001 when I got my first Harley a good friend insisted on buying me this bell. I thought that it was a nice jestour and didn't put much thought into it. I still have it hanging on my Roadking and keep it as clean as the Bike. I don't believe in the road demons like they are suppose to ward off. But I guess we need all the luck that we can get. I purchased a FXSTSSE a few months and plan to put a Bell on. Stay safe.......Jeff

Funny you ask.  I have one on mine right now but as I cleaned out my tool chest I found 3 more.  I feel bad about having so many and only use one.  I plan on re-gifting when I find that a buddy does not have one.

Are you kidding?  I'm not so superstitious so as to believe that silly legend about the Guardian bells!  See under right floor board.  It rings before the floor board scratches the pavement.

I had one hanging off the front of my floorboard - got it crushed somewhat, it's in my bag right now before I get it back on the bike somewhere visible...gooned it up pretty badly, lucky it didn't rip off

I have one on my KLR - if I scraped that one, I would really be leaned over...

On my 08 SEUC I had the Road Grelim Bell hanging from my floorboard and it got ground down to a nub. I now have one hanging just aft of my licence plate from the Tour Pack.

A friend bought mine for the old bike and I forgot to take the bell off before trading. When I remembered, I asked the dealer to return it with some parts they were sending me. It may have sounded kinda korny to them but I sure didn't want to bring on any bad luck.

Well I think it works as I too need all the help I can get......  I met a member of this site in Maggie Valley in 2006 for the first time he had (NO BELL)
and he drop his bike  :nixweiss:  now some as he did would say that was a freak thing..... Well at Hot Springs 2007  still NO BELL
he drop his bike on top of MT Magazine....  When we got back to the Harley shop I presented him with a BELL and MADE him put it on.
As of today unless there is something I don't know about he as NOT drop the bike since.

BELL or NO BELL   I choose the BELL......

I totalled two bikes with bells on them... I think a handlebar machine gun would make you a lot safer, LOL..

I am planning on going back to visit my buddy in Austin in a few weeks. I know when he sees me without a bell he will get one. I have gotten a couple for new riders before. It is nice to see the look on their face when you have them read the piece of paper explaining the purpose for the bell. I think of my riding buddy that gave it to me everytime that I clean my bike.
