When riding out here in the heat of the desert riding shorts and Sheep Skin over the saddle help ward off "monkey butt" and of course a can of Monkey Butt doesn't hurt either.
A sheepskin has saved my lil monkey butt on many cross country rides.  :2vrolijk_21: har.   :drink:spyder

The only thing with which I take exception is your use of: mildly.  :nixweiss: har!  :drink: spyder

I have not tried the biking shorts but the Under Armour boxer briefs work great.  I also found that they make a beanie for under football helmets; works great under a motorcycle helmet.

 :cherry:

Just one week till we leave for the Sturgis trip,  not sure in all this commentary that I saw any reference to those vests that you (wet and put in the refrigerator)......I recall reading about them a year or so ago,  you could go for a couple of hours or so and then re-wet the vest to keep your torso cooooooooooooooooled down. :P

Anyone familiar with such a deal??????

My wife has fairly severe heat issues, so she has a Polar Kool Max Body Cooling System (vest with ice packs), ref http://www.msolutions.org/koolmax.html

Unless somethings changes you won't need it this year---cold, but bring along a warm jacket.
