Just my opinion, why waste time telling us, 1) write MOCO & tell them, 2) don't trade there again....the rest will take care of it's self.
Maybe because sharing this kind of information is a big part of these on-line forums, and perhaps someone else in that area will learn what that dealership is like and not go there. Ultimately that is our only real weapon against lousy dealers, knowledge that leads to people not spending their money with the bad guys.
1. Contact the MoCo and complain, but don't expect much. Perhaps those complaints will count against the dealer somewhere down the road, like if Harley ever gets back to having shortages and starts restricting dealer allocations, but I don't see that being an issue anytime soon.
2. Don't trade there in the future, for anything. Definitely don't buy another bike there, or accessories, or elective service work, or even a T-shirt. Don't even go there for warranty work if you can find another dealer relatively close.
3. Make sure the owner/general manager of the store knows you aren't spending any more money in his place, and why.
4. Share your feelings about this dealership with all your biker friends and acquaintances. Word of mouth is still the best advertising, both positive and negative.
